Worship at UCC Abington
Worship at UCC Abington is relaxed, yet reverent. It is casual, yet meaningful. We invite you to come as you are, participate as you're comfortable, and know that you are welcomed and you are loved.
Traditional Worship
In the Sanctuary
Worship in the sanctuary includes organ music, prayers, hymns, and a sermon. In the sanctuary you'll also hear the voice choir and the bell choir! On the first Sunday of the month we share communion and all are welcome to participate. Worship also includes a moment of guided meditation, interactive prayers, children's sermons, and ministry moments! Worship in the sanctuary is comfortable and welcoming. Come as you are and be loved as you connect with others and with God!
Brunch Worship
Fourth Sunday of every month
In the early days of Christianity, church services were held in people's homes over a meal. There were no church buildings, pews, or steeples - just good food, music, and conversation about faith.
We're doing a modern take on the same here with our monthly 'Brunch Worship.'

For Brunch Worship, we'll gather in the Parish Hall where we'll sing a hymn or two, share our joys and concerns, and break communion bread together. Then we'll eat and chat around the table about faith, life, and things that really matter.
Sandwich Sundays
Third Sundays in January, April, July,
and September
Sandwich Sunday is the result of our efforts to create an atmosphere in which we can worship God and work together on a mission project.

On Sandwich Sundays, we meet in the Parish Hall and sit at tables, starting our time together with prayers, songs, and a short message.

Following the message, we will join together to make sandwiches and package brown bag lunches for Mainspring Homeless Shelter in Brockton. After lunches are packaged, we'll close with prayers for the mission and ministry in which we just participated.
